is a taste that we have come to CRAVE!
Angelo's Pizzeria offers pizza and pasta like no other!
Wayne and Maria Wright own and operate 3 successful pizzerias in these two small towns. They purchased the original Angelo's in 1968 and worked diligently to turn it into the thriving business it is today. The small building on 12th Avenue in Rock Falls still offers the diner-like feel it has had for the last 50 years.
In 1982, Wayne and Maria decided to take the next step and open a larger, family-friendly dine-in restaurant in Sterling. Angelo's II quickly became a favorite gathering place for friends and family to share a hearty, satisfying meal.
Wayne and Maria listened to their busy customers and opened a convenient delivery location on East Third Street in Sterling in 1992. It didn't take long to outgrow that small space, so they reopened in their current location in 2001.
Even with the 3 locations in such close proximity, customers were still willing to wait in line to dine at Angelo's II! After numerous ideas and sets of blueprints Angelo's II opened in a beautiful new building in December of 2004. The new decor was inspired by Wayne's love of antiques and the stained glass windows came from his personal collection. Angelo's II now accommodates much larger dining crowds in its casual, family-friendly atmosphere with a very large dining area and full bar, complete with big screen tv's.
Angelo's unique pizza and pasta recipes have been family favorites for over 50 years and keep customers coming back for more.
